NYE Research with Topcat and NME 31 December 2009

As I have mentioned before 2C-I is currently my favourite chemical I just can not seem to get enough of it, and after the previous time: 2C-I Research @ Home with Topcat 13 December 2009, I was keen to repeat increasing Topcats dose so she received visuals and also to let NME in on the fun, he has had previous experience with psychotropics, but not with this particularly substance.

NYE Research with Topcat and NME 31 December 2009:

Introduction

After a very pleasant dinner cooked by NME, and 3 hours previously we all settled down to an evening of bringing the new year in with some research.

Thursday

20mg 15mg and 12mg added to three small glasses of orange juices for Captain Acid, NME and Topcat.

All experiencing no effects.

21.00

Topcat and I are experiencing frustration at having to learn a new card game every 10 minutes which seem to comprise entirely of rules that NME has made up on the fly. No effects for anybody.

NME wins another hand of, "your fishmongers daughter, deuces wild, on Tuesdays".

I start to sense some effects, pictures starting to warp and shift, everyone else is still baseline.

I can definitely feel things now, as can NME, I am finding it much more difficult to concentrate at cards, and particularly traumatic to sort my hand out into low - high order, as you have to when playing, "never know your luck until and dead horse kicks you". Topcat gets the giggles at my cross-eyed confusion.

Topcat actually gets some visuals, were they worth waiting for: picture of a man lying on a wall, he has his hat on his tummy, Topcat sees his hat rising and falling as though he was breathing. NME and myself now getting visuals but nothing that intense it feels we are on the threshold and we just can t quite breakthrough.

Happy New Year. That last hour seems to have been the peak, such as it was, everybody's mood is elevated and NME and I have tactile awareness, I am also seeing blurred multiple images of people, which makes them appear soft and kind of woolly.

We have all moved upstairs for a change of scenery. Topcat was looking around the room trying to tease out an effect, she notice NME has a large green lamp in his front room, she thinks to herself, I wonder if NME knows he has a big green lamp in his front room, this quickly and exponentially becomes, as far as Topcat is concerned at any rate the funniest thing that there has ever been and ever will be, she doubles up in fits of giggles, occasionally regaining some composure, before again spiralling into giggle central.

I am still getting some visuals, but other effects have gone, the same is true for NME and Topcat's giggles have stopped.

Again similar to the previous research disappointed Topcat did not really get many visuals, part of this is definitely due to the proximity of the evening meal to the research, however on this occasion it was unavoidable, and nobody really wanted to start snorting this gear in any case which is what the alternative would have been. NME mentioned he wished he had a higher dose, but we have all been there, easy to say that afterwards, best to go low especially on a first time.

Starting to feel the start of something tingling anticipation, zero for Topcat.

Walls breathing, maybe start of tactile awareness, turned the bass up, oh yeah, Topcat zero.

Trip to the toilet, as usual for me on most things, I must now be 10lbs lighter, again. No trips to the toilet or other excitement of any kind for Topcat.

I am now flying as I have previously on this chemical, Topcat looks at me as though I have put her in the "control group".

Tingling all over, impressive visuals and tactile effects, turned the bass up to 11, starting to feel a little frisky, poor Topcat you guessed it nada.

I seem to be getting much greater tactile awareness than I have previously got on this substance, I am stroking Topcat's hair which feel amazing, also whilst caressing Topcat's curves they feel extra sensuous and exaggerated. Yes you guessed it, Topcat = ziltch.

Whilst er, upstairs I get a little confused I also experience a little time judder, and I just can't concentrate something is wrong, it turns out the something wrong is the music. I put Faithless on, and we have all systems go. Topcat "the tiger" makes a reappearance but this time I see her as I less rubberised tiger, but more cute and furry, I think Topcat prefers this image. You will be pleased to hear that Topcat is now getting effects, not visuals as you might expect, but the sexual increased sensitivity that goes with this substance.

Debriefing

Very worthwhile evening, disappointed Topcat did not really get any visuals, although she had some pleasant effects nonetheless. However rather this than too many effects, which could lead to panic or paranoia, as always in this things always plans to take it slow.

Contractor Christmas Party 2009

Every year myself and two other contractors, have what is cunningly titled, The Contractors Christmas Party, we hit London town to one of the capitals best restaurants and then on to a club. Okay not the most original of ideas, but there was no need or intention of reinventing the wheel on this one.

Contractor Christmas Party 2009:

Introduction

We started in a rather passé white limousine doing the usual tour of swanky hotel bars, we pull up at The Lanesborough Hyde Park Corner for a lovely 7 course meal, very nice indeed although this does bend one of the rules I like to keep to: Research on an empty stomach, still it was a nice meal.

I will start the report from the point we entered the club, Matter in the O2 arena, this is supposed to be a good club with an awesome sound system. I was not that impressed overall, fantastic toilets though to be fair, the club is seriously let down by the lack of a chill out area, that said I would go back, yes the toilets were that good. I had started drinking at 15.00 and during the meal I was really feeling it, so I therefore had a cheeky nose full of cocaine, just to keep myself in the game at about 21.00.

Saturday

Entered the club had a look around, and a cheeky bottle beer or two, feeling good and really looking forward to the night ahead. I was confident I had all things covered as I had test ran a dose of 25mg of 2C-I, as detailed in 2C-I Research @ Home and I was confident that I knew exactly what effects I would be experiencing.

Myself and Druzler dropped the 2C-I, the other guys who started the evening bleated out in the limousine and would not even come to the club. I dropped 25mg Druzler dropped 20mg

Having a blast bopping away to Tom Middleton, however zero effects whatsoever from the 2C-I, I had hoped that the meal was long enough ago to not make that much of a difference, this was clearly not going to be the case.

Getting effects now, I noticed no come-up at all, static objects warping, pleasantly high, but not the massive high I had on the test run, I have lost Druzler this always happens but a little concerned as he has not tried this substance before.

Found some music I liked in room 2, just getting nice rushes of euphoria and some time judder, a lady is looking at me and I just can not tell whether she just glanced at me, or she has been doing it for a while, I am in a time loop which is fine as I am now getting nice tactile feelings as well.

Find Druzler, he is very confused and is in a similar heroic time dilation that I was on Planet Angel October 2009. I am also experiencing time judder, where everything seems to come to a complete stop for a moment before it all come back on-line, very weird and amusing.

I am beginning to think I have not peaked or if I have it has only just happened the meal has really slowed the onset by a massive amount. I am thinking that Druzler has had enough and wants to go, but is hanging in there for my benefit.

Could really have done with a sit down and a chill out, but as mentioned above the club does not have an area for this. I have two choices and I only thought of one of them at the time so that is the one we did. The choices were: (i) Drop some Mephedrone, to give us a push and some much needed energy (ii) Call time on the night and go home. Hindsight is good, but unfortunately I could only think of option (ii).

Outside club waiting for a taxi, Druzler has snapped out of his time dilation, I am what I call "in and out", ie for a time I am completely fine and 100%, then I just drift off before I snap back again.

In cab back to my east London house, all the Docklands skyline looks very Bladerunnerish, visually still tripping quite a lot.

Try to get some sleep, no way this is happening I am getting massive closed eye visuals, colours warping and sounds slowing and speeding up, very nice and interesting effects, location not great though, empty house in east London basically I am to wired to sleep or even relax I want to do something. Druzler is having none of this and is very nearly asleep.

I decide to get a tube home, just because it is something to do, I get to the tube station, no trains until 07.30 brilliant gotta love the transport system in London. I take a slow walk back to the house, the wind and the light rain feel fantastic, shame it is not windier, lovely slow walk back.

Noticeably nearer to baseline now, but still undoubtedly tripping away like a hippy.

I get a cab home, just getting bored now and want to be at home with the family.

Debriefing

Empty stomach, do not forget this again, always best to research on an empty stomach, or if this is impossible put the drugs up your hooter. Additionally I am very disappointed with myself that I did not think to try the Mephedrone to sharpen us up instead of going home, this is annoying because I was in a similar(ish) situation at Planet Angel November 2009 and I did consider it then and decided, rightly so on that occasion against it, however I should have thought of it as an option.

2C-I Research @ Home 01 December 2009

This is where my analytical approach would pay dividends so I thought, on the Saturday following this night, namely the 05 December 2009 it was the annual contractors Christmas party, and I wanted to research what the best dose would be to take for that night. Therefore in the comfort of my own home the plan was to take a large(ish) amount of 2C-I and see what happened, if I got major time dilation then I would take less on the Saturday, genius what could possibly go wrong. Well on this night nothing, wow this was amazing I was seriously flying with so many effects at one point it was almost overwhelming, yet still it complete control, I like, I really like this substance under these conditions. More on the contractor Christmas do in another post.

Introduction

I had not eaten for at least 5 hours before the research started, I find this essential and always try to replicate this in all my research efforts, it makes the come-up quicker and smoother, the effects cleaner and more predictable.

Tuesday

Feeling more alert and, "buzzy" and vision slightly clearer.

Trip to the toilet, as usual for me on most things, I must now be 10lbs lighter.

This is the fastest come up I have had on this substance, whilst looking across bedroom at shelf, it starts to warp and breathe.

Things really moved on a pace now walls breathing swirling, turn on MTV getting increased music appreciation.

Feeling really good now, closed eye visuals as well now, maybe the fist signs of increased tactile awareness.

20.30 - 21.30

Just keeps getting better, I keep turning the bass up, it must be at 11 by now.

21.30 - 22.00

This is the peak, massive visuals, my whole body is vibrating, I do not get up and dance but I really want to, a little time judder, following my hands movements producing huge tracers, walls still breathing but vibrating, strangely this is not disconcerting. Sense of well-being and enhanced lucidity, topcat says my eyes are "sparkling". Jeez this stuff is awesome, very impressed.

NOTE: Pupils like saucers, much bigger than MDMA, I mean huge, really really huge.

Coming down a little now, very smooth come down, it is weird to be experiencing so many effects still, ie massive visuals, and still huge tactile buzz, but to think it was so much more earlier, no time judder or dilation.

Continued slow progression towards baseline, although still definitely tripping my balls off, unbelievable

Go to bed, closed eye visuals have stopped and I am tired, I am jumped by topcat, sex on this gear is fantastic, the tactile sensation is very obvious and almost indescribable, this is even be better than Methylone or Ketamine sex. It has some of the mergeness of Ketamine sex, and closeness and empathy of Methylone sex, awesome combination, also getting fantastic CEV, Topcat becomes a tiger, a sort of cartoon rubanesque leather wearing tiger, oh my god, easy tiger.

What a trip, will repeat this in a club, (apart from the tiger bit) and try and peak with methlyone, that has awesome potential.

Planet Angel November 2009

After the previous trip to Planet Angel, where as I now put it, I was "lost in acid", I was determined not to push the envelope quite so much this time, so instead of taking one substance I took three. It seems I may not have thought this though.

Planet Angel November 2009:

Introduction

My second trip to Planet Angel and after what happened before at Planet Angel with the 2C-T-7, you might be forgiven for thinking that I would have had enough of the 2C-X family of research chemicals. However as I have said to many people, the effects that happened that night always seem worse to other people than to me, although I can see what they mean when I describe them out loud, the look on their faces is very enlightening. The worst thing for me on the night was the slightly to high body load, I could never quite get comfortable, I will always remember looking at my watch and seeing the dials all spin backwards, during a massive dose of time dilation, even at the time I thought that was funny.

Friday

Met up with NME and Johnny Ferrari at a random pub in Vauxhall, you may have heard of it, The Griffin and joy it turned out to be a gay pub, and it was rammed. We had a beer made our excuses and left with three phones numbers each.

Entered the club, not been to this place before, Club Colosseum , have a walk round seems okay, we meet up with Bluestar and catch up with a beer or two.

I was planning to drop 20mg of 2C-I first, but NME and Johnny Ferrari wont join in, and as I want everybody to be at the same thing we all drop one grey puma, a decent MDMA pill that has approx 100mg of MDMA. I am not expecting too much, as it took two of these at Bestival, before I reached escape velocity.

As predicted I have nothing, NME and Johnny Ferrari are buzzing away, gits, so annoying and expensive being a bit of a hard head for MDMA. Anyway I stop bleating and drop another one, I prepare for lift off.

Still nothing, okay maybe mood uplifted but nothing like what I was expecting, very disappointed.

I drop 20mg of 2C-I.

Start to get visuals, lampshades warping, mood uplifted, whether this is the 2C-I or just relief that something is working I am not sure.

As often happens I have lost everybody else, I am feeling good not masses of euphoria or empathy but just elated. I find everybody else they are obsessed with some progressive trance I go back to the live band I was watching before. I am enjoying the 2C-I, first time I have had it in a club, and I am thinking that some of the more subtle effects are being blown away, particularly the tactile enhancements, I move to a chill out room and they are present.

Bump into Bluestar, and he gives me an unknown amount of 2C-B, which was probably between, 15 - 25mg.

The 2C-B is hitting me now, colours brighter and a little mental fogginess, creeping in, I realise fairly quickly that I should not have taken the 2C-B. I am not going to get "lost in acid" as I did at the previous Planet Angel, but it takes real concentration to speak.

I am experiencing time dilation and some time judder, we are standing at the bar and Bluestar says something, then NME says something, then Bluestar says exactly the same thing again, I was about to mention this then I realise ooh yeah, bit of time judder there. I did consider at this point to take a bit of Mephedrone or Cocaine which would have given me a boost, however I decided I was happy to carry on until the end of the night as it was nearly home time in any case.

Club is kicking out and I seem to breakout back to almost baseline in 5 minutes, a bit weird the speed of that, but useful nonetheless as I now have a complicated, well complicated for a man on acid, trip home across town. That will teach me to go out the wrong side of the river.

Debriefing

After the "important" lessons learnt at the previous Planet Angel, it was disappointed to almost get lost in acid again, totally my own fault for accepting gives from men carrying class A drugs, Bluestar. At the time I was very vexed as to why I did not come-up from the two pills, since that night I have pondered this and the only explanation I can come up with is that the first time I took two grey pumas, at Bestival I had also been drinking cider most of the day.

Hot on the heels of the two previous "Research @ Home" nights, it was only a matter of time I guess.

Main effects: Unsteady on feet, things not quite right.

Research @ Home 07 November 2009:

Introduction

I have tried Ketamine a couple times before, both of these occasions with other substances, once with cocaine, often called ck1 at Glastonbury and once with Butylone when I had the weird coming back up experience. Therefore topcat and I thought we would give this substance a try but on its own.

Saturday

Insufflated 55mg of Ketamine, Topcat had a smaller amount proportional to her weight, I therefore can not reveal that amount, for obvious reasons.

Topcat reporting light headiness, I have nothing.

Topcat no major effects, and I have nothing I redose with another 20mg.

Topcat starts to feel nauseous, I get some effects a little visual judder on head movements.

I am now feeling nauseous as well.

Both of us in the bathroom, taking it in turns to vomit and then bleat about it.

Effects all but worn off now decide to go to bed.

Start to have sex, this is where things start to get interesting. During sex it feels as though there is nothing there, neither of us can feel anything down there, we are almost certain we have fused together, or merged very weird, but also very erotic. Topcat shouts so loud, all the foxes in the local area howl at her to shut up.

Debriefing

No real urge to repeat this, although the sex was fantastic, probably not worth the pain going though all the nausea and vomiting, especially as we have since found out that 2C-I can produce a similar effects, but without the unpleasantness.
